Hello to all of you. I feel like I am becoming that guy that keeps promising things and then never delivers. Not a good look, let's be honest.
But although the shipping question is not completely settled yet (!), I have decided enough is enough and am going forward with the Backerkit survey. Their team is reviewing it as we speak and that takes about 2 days. Unless there is a major issue, you should be getting them before next week. That means once people have answered their survey, they will receive download links for the graphic novel and the Secrets of God's'Dog book.
In the survey, you will be able to add on different things, the books, the prints, etc. I will also be setting up a pre-sale store for those who want to get things and have not backed it on Indiegogo.
In the meantime, printing is still going on. The second book is started. Hopefully we can get the book in your hands as soon as possible.

Hello to all,
We are starting on book 2 and have negotiated for Jesse White, who made the amazing pin-up you see below, to create all the pages which will be diving into the "mythological world", that is all the scenes which will explore the more cosmic aspect of the story with Biblical characters. That means between 30-50 pages. The person who did the coloring, Felipe Cartin, will also be doing the inking, which means we will be accelerating the art production in the hopes that we can deliver book 2 this year. 
Logistical Nightmare
We are still fighting all sorts of monsters to get the book 1 to you. This week I had to make a difficult decision and change the fulfillment company we were attempting to work with. QM Logistics was suggested to us by Backerkit, but they proved impossible to work with. I would have to wait days and then weeks to get the info we needed. I had to call their offices, send and resend emails, and then when they finally sent us the details, there was a major error in their pricing which meant they had to start over, sending us into another round of waiting and reminding them to send the info. Until today, I have not received their final shipping prices.
Yesterday I met with another shipping company and started negotiating the details. I am really hoping that next week I will be finally able to send out the Backerkit surveys to finalize everything.
Of course the printing is well underway, but this has delayed the sending out of the PDF files because I want to do that with our final Backerkit numbers.
I comfort myself in knowing that these are growing pains which will be ironed out with book 1 and will then be smooth sailing for future books.
Thanks for the support and know that we are fighting to get all of this done as soon as possible.

Hello all, this is just a quick note to tell you that despite promises, we have not yet received shipping prices from the shipping company a full week after the date they had given us. This means we cannot send the surveys out yet. I am pressing them, and so hopefully we will receive the details very soon, we can put those into backerkit and move forward.
On another front, the printing of the book is well underway, so that at least is moving forward.
We will keep you posted as soon as we can move fowards.

Hello to all.
We are still facing the surprises of all the logistics. We are learning fast, but the curve is very steep. For sure we are also learning and setting things up for the future so that book 2 will run very smoothly.
Fulfillment
Our relationship with the company doing fulfillment has been negotiated and set. The company is called Quarter Master Logistics. We chose them because they are used to the comic, tabletop game world of fulfillment. Once the first fulfillment is done, they will also be our partner for whatever method of distribution we decide on for the future. https://www.qmlogistics.com/
The fulfillment company has promised me a list of all actual shipping costs per items, package and destination by the end of the week.
Once we receive that list, all the details will be entered in to Backerkit and you will be sent the survey to confirm everything, add things you want and make sure your shipping address is right.
With that survey, I will also deliver the digital goods, so the God’s’Dog pdf and the GodsDog secrets pdf, so stay tuned for that. It will all happen around next week.
Godsdogecoin
As you know, in every printed book, a qr code for 7777 godsdogecoin will be inserted. Jamie Day, of infamous Tacocat777 fame is managing the coin. Cord has designed the token and it looks pretty awesome, lets be honest. Matthieu and I are working on fun things for people to do with the coin, and also interesting ways for people to get more of it by participation in the world of God’s’Dog.
I have already decided that all the people who’s fan art is in the book will be given more of the coin.
More news on that soon.
Discord and NFT news
The God’s’Dog Discord server has more than 380 members right now. And though it is quiet, we of course expect a lot of interesting discussion to arise when the pdf drops.

This morning, the deposit for the large part of the funds got finally deposited into our account! I have officially ended the campaign today.
I spent the last few days with Matthieu. We finalized the printed bookplates to be glued into the books.
Things are feeling like they are finally moving again, but we have some very important announcements and next steps to pay attention to.
DELAYS
With all these delays due to funds and what we have discovered to be increasing shipping delays for overseas orders, we are realizing that our January-February date for delivery has become completely impossible. We investigated having the books printed locally, but the price was 3 to 4 times overseas printing which would put a serious dent in our future plans.
We will be hitting print now, but we are being informed with the whole world situation, that we need to expect a 3-month delay until we get the books. So we want to make up for that.
GOD'S'DOG PDF
Because of the delays, we have decided to send everyone who backed the physical book, a link to download the PDF. For those who have purchased both the printed book and a PDF, we will contact you and arrange reimbursement for what you paid. The link to dowload the God's'Dog PDF will be sent with the link to download the Secrets of God's'Dog PDF as well. This will give the opportunity of access for those who are impatient to read the book . You will get the link for download via Backerkit. What is Backerkit?
BACKERKIT
In the next week or so, you will receive an email from Backerkit. Backerkit is a service to help us confirm and expand the possibilities of what you ordered in your pledge. This email will be in the form of a survey. In filling out the survey, you will confirm your main perk and will confirm your address. For all the add-ons and shipping fees you had added to your pledge, for example if you added on an extra book or a print, Backerkit will represent that added amount as a credit. With that credit, you will be able to re-pick your perks, change them and/or even chose more add-ons, whether it be more copies of the book, the posters, Secrets of God's'Dog or whatever you are interested in getting.
Here is an example of what that could look like for someone who got a signed version of the book and print, but then ends up with a credit to be re-allocated on shipping and other perks. The person will also have the possibility of adding more products and paying more if it goes over the credit left. (This image is automatically generated by the system, yours will have different amounts)
The kit will also re-adjust shipping on added items to be more precise based on actual cost from the fulfillment center (that is wharehouse that will be shipping everything to you. )
For those who backed the project multiple times with different perks, you will get the same number of surveys. So if you backed the project 2 times, for example by getting a signed book one day, and then came back a month later to get the Secrets of God’s’Dog book and add a print, you will get two surveys, one to confirm the signed book perk, the other confirming the Secrets book, but with a credit representing the value of the print you had added.
This is a little complicated, but after much searching, it is the best way to ensure everyone gets what they wanted and also feels safe that their details are confirmed. When all of this will reach the fulfillment center, your orders will all be bundled together and sent to you.
Once all the surveys are sent, we will also send links to download the PDF files.
I hope this all makes sense. We are learning very fast about all these details and will present a much smoother experience when we get to book 2.
